We’re in a very lucky position to be able to help The Recycle Project CIC with their upcoming Big Bike Event. As you all know, recycling bikes is our thing and this event is right up our street. The Recycle Project have pledged to give 100 bikes to various communities within York with the help and support of various organisations.
Not only have we dedicated our technicians time to help service these bikes and our workshop space to help educate the vulnerable adults on how to look after their trusty new steed, we are also seeing 4 bikes go for a Tombola prize too! A family will think this prize is the best thing in the world!
Speaking from experience, nothing beats getting out on the road with your family and seeing the hours pass by as fast as the wind. To give a family the chance to benefit from 4 amazing bikes is exactly what is going to happen come Saturday 10th June.
The Big Bike Event is the new driving force behind road safety, accessing affordable travel and having bike related fun! The Recycle Project is pledging their efforts to give different communities within the York area an experience they will never forget. Not only giving them a new bike to get around on but also how to look after and maintain the bike. To support this campaign, the Big Bike Event will pull together different organisations and people to have a family orientated, fun-filled day.
We will also have pitch there for the day to join in the fun. We are running different bike workshops throughout the day including a basic bike service demonstration and also including some time for you to bring your own bike down and fix it under the guidance of our awesome technicians! See below the array of different prizes to be won on the tombola! We have been told that this list is growing so make sure you don’t miss this one!
Make sure you put the date in your calendar… Saturday 10th June. 9am start! All kicks off with a massive £1 sale hosted by The Recycle Project CIC. It will be a very fun day and one that will definitely be remembered. It will mark the commencement and launch of the 100 bike giveaway campaign and start a new movement to get people on the road, safely!
You don’t need tickets but you can secure a spot to come on the day through Eventbrite.
